Please join us for a reception and panel on the history of women’s Cold War protest and child welfare efforts. Joining the author will be two of her oral history participants. Dr. David Josephy will speak about his mother’s, Goldie Josephy, disarmament and anti-Vietnam War activism. Dr. Lorraine Oak will share her experience as a youth volunteering with UNICEF in 1960s Edmonton.
The event is hosted by the WLU bookstore and sponsored by the Laurier Brantford F-Word Committee.
